Tabrez is a proven leader in mid-market Oil & Gas M&A with 15 years of experience in closing deals in 25+ countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. At his previous employer, EY, Tabrez led their Africa Oil & Gas Transactions practice which he founded. He has a track record of new business development, and of leading the execution of cross-border Oil & Gas M&A and financing mandates.
Tabrez has an established personal brand in the African and European upstream transactions market. His strong network of international C-suite clients includes non-corporate industry stakeholders and government entities. Tabrez is a Bachelor of Commerce, a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland (ICAS), and a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD business school.
